In recent years, a large number of mainland architexts regress to focus on Chinese traditional material. It deeply affect the practice of Chinese architecture. Wang Shu creat a totally new type in china which is focus on combining modern architectural design theory with Chinese traditional architectural culture. The building is the synthesizer of Wang Shu’s architectural lexicon such as the continuous slope roof, use of traditional material and space prototype of traditional villages.
